Johan, our leader and technical specialist, is deeply passionate about sound engineering and lighting design. He leads a team of dedicated young men and women skilled in the same knowledge but also very adaptable and dynamic.
On the media side, Multi-Music has an excellent Media team that brings creativity, and stories to life through photography and videography. With a keen eye for detail and artistic approach, they ensure that every moment is beautifully captured and preserved.

Our History
MultiMusic Entertainment started operating 11 years ago with 2 friends, 2 speakers and a second hand mic. It was the year that all our friends turned 21, so our DJ services at a “friendship fee” was a hot commodity then. Over time the events grew larger, starting with Tuks residence dances back in the day at varsity, and quickly progressed to weddings and corporate events when we identified the need for reliable and professional DJ services at these types of events.
What we realised back then (and it remains true today) was that a DJ can make or break a wedding or event. Our biggest objective is for you to relax and enjoy your special day, and even though entertainment is critical to the success and flow of your wedding, it is the last thing you should worry about during your wedding. Hiring a professional DJ company is key to ensuring that your wedding runs smoothly. With more than 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry, we have built a reputation of reliability and excellence.
Over the years we have travelled the country to some of the most spectacular venues and locations, and although we primarily operate in Gauteng, we are more than willing to travel to your venue of choice. MultiMusic Entertainment strives to consistently provide the highest quality sound equipment and DJ services by understanding both the needs and wants of our clients and secondly, by always exceeding client expectation with regards to professionalism, communication, appearance, and job performance. We will contribute to guarantee a comfortable, fun, well organised and stress-free wedding.
New Wind in the Sails
In 2023, Johan acquired Multi-Music Entertainment from the original founder and took the company further. Johan’s passion for live events, sound and lights come from his childhood, but for a season of his life, he worked in the corporate sector. When the time was right, in 2020, he finally went full-time into the sound and event and entertainment industry, which led him to acquire Multi-Music in 2023 and now he is a trusted service provider in the Event Industry.
A few months after acquiring Multi-Music, the media side of Multi-Music was born. Johan had around him people who had a vision for Photography and Videography. They added so much value to his event that he decided to expand Photography and Videography into the business.
